About the Project

For Aramco, at Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO), we are replacing and renewing the 1,100 m² skylight over the inner atrium of one of its buildings in Al Khafji. Work started in July 2026 and is scheduled to finish in January 2027, a six-month program.

We carry out the work for Alalameya Group, the project's subcontractor, under the main contract held by Al Jalhami Contracting & Trading Co. We work from scaffolding erected inside the atrium to reach the roof's space frame, with the floors protected throughout.

Challenge

Renewing a 1,100 m² skylight high above a multi-story atrium in an existing building, while keeping the space and its finishes safe during the work.

Solution

We work from scaffolding inside the atrium with the floors protected, while components are prepared in our Riyadh factory for our own team to install on site.

Result

Work is under way, with handover scheduled for January 2027.
